Fiction Without Romance, a Digital Edition
Fiction Without Romance; or The Locket-Watch (1830) is comprised of two volumes and no chapters. The novel was printed by Wertheimer and Son, a printing company whose office was located in London's East End. The novel was published by Effingham Wilson. I have not found evidence that the novel was reprinted or republished. I've identified six complete extant copies of the novel.
For a discussion of the novel's cultural contexts see Heidi Kaufman, "Romance in Maria Polack's Fiction Without Romance (1830)," Romantic Circles Praxis Series, “The Sundry Faces of Nineteenth-Century Anglo-Jewish Literature,” ed. Karen Weisman (November 2020).
